    Julian Guthrie

    Profile

    Julian Guthrie, a fashion designer/patternmaker and an educator, has worked in the fashion industry for over a decade. 

    Employing both traditional and emerging technology as methods of patternmaking and design development, Julian utilizes a range of skills: handwork; Photoshop; Illustrator; Clo3D, and KeyShot.

    Presently, he is a freelance 3D virtual technical designer/patternmaker. 

    He has also worked for brands such as: TelfarChloe ColetteFleur Du MalOcchiiAutumn AdeigboDiOMi, Coach, The Donna Karan Company, J. Crew, Perry Ellis and Calvin Klein Women’s Collection. 

    Concurrent with his industry work, he is also a part-time instructor at Parsons where he also earned both his BFA in Fashion Design and MFA in Fashion Design & Society degrees.
     

    Additionally, Julian was the creator of the Clo3D Virtual Fashion Design certificate here at Parsons, and is currently the BFA Fashion Technology Coordinator for the School of Fashion.
