Profile
Jiji Ugboma is a media professional, writer and educator with over a decade of experience driving growth and innovation in the media and entertainment industry.
Most recently, she was Director of Publisher Partnerships at Penske Media Corporation (PMC), where she led initiatives to support publishers and media company clients helping them navigate and thrive in an ever-evolving digital landscape. She specializes in audience development, community engagement, and managing strategic partnerships. She has collaborated with leading media and technology companies including Google, LinkedIn, Microsoft, Katie Couric Media, Acast, and Flipboard.
She is the founder of Clever-ish Magazine and the author of the Wandering, Not Lost newsletter, where she explores themes of purpose, ambition, resilience, and self-actualization. Drawing on research, storytelling, and personal reflection, her writing explores how people make meaning, embrace change, and carve out unconventional paths toward greater fulfillment in work and life.
Jiji's professional and academic interests sit at the intersection of media, culture, identity, and human connection. She explores how social, cultural, and media environments shape identity, aspirations, relationships, and the pursuit of meaning, with particular interest in how people navigate unconventional paths, ambition, relationships, and self-actualization in a rapidly changing social and professional landscape.
