Emily Jockel Ferdowsi is a registered architect and artist based in New York City. As Studio Director at David Bers Architecture she specializes in architecture for artists and creatives. Jockel has worked as an art director and set designer at Palmer Schwartz Agency designing and producing shows at New York and Paris Fashion Week and with Ralph Lauren’s global windows set design department. She was recently awarded a residency at Haystack Mountain School of Arts for her ceramics and her work was exhibited with Superstudio Milano as part of the Salone del Mobile design fair in Milan, Italy. Jockel holds an MSAAD from Columbia University and a BArch from The Pennsylvania State University. She is interested in the practice of making architecture to foster creative expression and how psychological knowledge informs space-making.
