    Profile

    I am an architect, product designer, writer and educator. In addition to an architecture/interiors practice (www.davidbergmaneco.com), I’m the author of Sustainable Design: A Critical Guide and the blog EcoOptimism. I am the Program Director for the New York School of Interior Design’s Master of Professional Studies in Sustainable Interior Environments and an adjunct assistant professor at Parsons, having created courses in sustainable design in several programs. I have a B.A. in architecture and economics from Yale and an M.Arch from Princeton.
