Caryn Pang is a part-time professor and course author at Parsons MPS Program. Her ability to teach business fundamentals is a result of her 15+ years of experience as a retail business executive bringing real world experiences to the classroom. Caryn has worked for Neiman Marcus, TJX, and Macy's and enjoys teaching all levels of students including undergraduates, graduates, and executives. Currently, Caryn is a PhD candidate at Iowa State University. Her research stream focuses on cross-cultural-consumer behavior, as it relates to global retail markets.
In my teaching, I am committed to fostering student collaboration and quality education stimulated by critical thinking. I enjoy the challenges of teaching online and face to face classes and making sure collaboration and critical thinking are at the foundation. Continuing to innovate, educate, and be a true "continuous learner" will make me grow and, I am passionate about passing this along to my students.
