Profile
Arsenio Garcia Monsalve is a New York based product designer with more than twenty years of experience across North American, Latin American, Asian, and European markets. Trained in Industrial Design at ArtCenter College of Design and holding a Master’s in Creative Writing from the Universidad de Salamanca, he brings a rare blend of analytical rigor and narrative thinking to the innovation process, from design research and strategy to product development and implementation. Arsenio’s work has been recognized with multiple distinctions, including IDSA Gold Awards and Chicago Athenaeum Good Design Awards, and has been featured in publications such as Vogue Italia, Popular Mechanics, Ottagono, and Wired. He teaches in the Product Design MFA program at Parsons School of Design and in the Industrial Design program at Pratt Institute. He works from the belief that functionality and usability can, and should coexist with beauty. His practice integrates artistic exploration with evidence‑based methodologies, allowing him to identify emerging trends and translate research insights into clear strategies, compelling concepts, and market‑ready products.
