Aneta Genova

Profile

Aneta Genova is an Associate Teaching Professor in the School of Fashion and the School of Art, Media, and Technology at Parsons School of Design in New York City. She holds a BFA in Fashion Design and an MFA in Design and Technology. As part time faculty at Parsons Aneta's focus is on accessory design, fashion product and fashion and technology. She teaches core curriculum and elective classes in the BFA Fashion Design and the MFA Design + Technology programs, engaging students into a broad range of cross-disciplinary creative methodologies from traditional fashion techniques to the latest innovative technologies. Aneta Genova has more than 20 years of experience in the Fashion Design Garment/Accessory industries as a designer, creative director, business owner, and college professor. She is a recipient of numerous grants and has authored an Accessory Design textbook and co-authored a Fashion and Technology textbook, published by Fairchild Books.

Ms. Genova works on various cross-disciplinary projects merging fashion and technology and provides services as an Expert Witness in the areas of fashion clothing and accessories.
