Profile
Andrea Macruz is a Brazilian interdisciplinary designer with master’s degrees in Interior Design, Furniture Design, and Biodigital Architecture, as well as a PhD, all completed at institutions in São Paulo, Milan, and Barcelona. Her doctoral research focused on the intersection of architecture and neuroscience and was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Neil Leach, with Dr. Alberto T. Estévez as her tutor.
Her work has been published in magazines such as Domus, Wallpaper*, and Vogue, and has been exhibited at SaloneSatellite, the Beijing Architecture Biennale, and Rossana Orlandi exhibitions in Milan, Hong Kong, and Doha, as well as at London, Barcelona, and Berlin Design Weeks. Andrea has taught at several institutions worldwide.
She currently serves as School Elective Coordinator at the School of Constructed Environments (SCE) at Parsons School of Design.
