Profile

Creative professional for more than 25 years in the Fashion Industry with a proven track record. Designing clothing and textile prints for well known fashion brands such as Ann Taylor Loft, Calvin Klein, DVF, Victoria's Secret. design collaborations with Milly, Thakoon and others for Kohl's Design-nation.
My aspirations as an artist began at an early age. Inspired by art, music, movies, nature, color and a love of sketching/drawing, fashion would be an inevitable choice for my creative pursuits.

As a fashion designer i have had the opportunity to explore the manufacturing/production processes in conjunction with international suppliers. My love of travel, inquisitive nature and exploration of cultures would be nourished through these experiences. Engagement with beautiful cultures through traveling to the Far East/Turkey/Middle East/Central and South America for garment manufacturing and to European Cities for trend influences. Again, i am inspired by these global collaboration of artisans and craftsman working together to help build sustainable practices.

It is during the course of these enriching experiences within my fashion career I was offered a teaching post at the prestigious Parson's School of Design. For more than 15 years I have had the privilege of facilitating aspiring artists and designers to cultivate their craft.
