Profile
Mark Randall is an Associate Professor of Design Strategies at Parsons School of Design in New York, where he also serves as Co-director of the MS in Strategic Design for Global Leadership. From 2020 to 2024, he was Associate Dean of the School of Design Strategies, and before that, Associate Director of the BBA in Strategic Design and Management. For over twenty years, Mark has been principal of Worldstudio, a strategy and communications firm helping nonprofit and civic organizations improve the lives of individuals and communities. He is president of Worldstudio Foundation, the first U.S. nonprofit devoted to encouraging social responsibility in the design and arts professions. Its signature initiative, the Worldstudio AIGA DxD Scholarship program, has awarded over $1.5 million to art and design students nationwide. For eight years, Mark chaired Impact! Design for Social Change at the School of Visual Arts, a six-week intensive on social entrepreneurship and community engagement. He has also taught at Fordham University and the University of Hartford, and lectures internationally on social design. An avid beekeeper for nearly twenty years, Mark launched B-Line Ice Cream in 2017, sweetened with honey from his own hives and supporting local beekeepers in upstate New York. He received the AIGA Medal in 2017.
