Katherine Wolkoff

Profile

Katherine is a commercial and fine art photographer. She is represented by the Sasha Wolf Gallery, Hello Artists and Trunk Archive. Katherine’s artwork has been exhibited extensively in solo and group exhibitions nationally and internationally including Aperture Gallery, Danziger Projects, Time Life Gallery, Steven Kashner Gallery, Palais de Tokyo, Paris France, Photo District News, and her fourth New York solo show is scheduled for Fall 2016. Her editorial clients include The New York Times Magazine, Time, Travel + Leisure, W and Surface among other publications. Her commercial clients include Samsung, Sharp, Black Rock, Johnson & Johnson, Kate Spade and others. She is a graduate of Barnard College where she studied American History and Yale University where she received an MFA in Photography. She was previously an Assistant Professor of Photography at Massachusetts College of Art and Design (2003-2005), and has since served in visiting critic/lecturer roles in a range of institutions nationally including: Pratt Institute, Montclair State University, School of Visual Arts, and Tulane University.
