Migration Studio: Lesvos, Greece

How do you conduct research in an ethical manner? Students in the Migration Studio course in the Graduate Programs in International Affairs at The New School traveled to Lesvos, Greece,  to explore the physical, political, and social dimensions of migration along the Balkans route. Through their research, on topics ranging from mental health services provided to refugees to the behavior of security forces on the island, and by working with local lawyers and aid workers, students searched for deeper insight and actionable solutions to one of our most pressing issues.
