Description:
This is the second of a two-semester sequence in professional practices and provides a thorough and immersive overview of transitioning into the field. The course covers the development of marketing and promotional skills, and entrepreneurial strategies to represent work verbally and textually. Students work through assignments that help to shape and better understand marketing and promotional materials, websites, publications, presentations, and market analysis. Students engage with the course material through group discussions, field visits, lectures, demonstrations, critiques and collaborations.
