In this studio, the first in a six-course core studio sequence, students will develop an understanding of the basic vocabularies, skills/techniques, practices and contexts of architectural design, and will work both individually and collaboratively, in a studio environment. Through a set of rigorous, iterative small projects, the student will investigate concepts of Scale, Space Making and Systems in architecture.
