This course teaches design strategies for leaders, activists, and entrepreneurs interested in modeling ideas at the early stages of innovation. If innovation is the pre-requisite to succeed in promoting inclusive prosperity and business opportunities, Designing New Ventures provides design methodology for the early stages of entrepreneurial activities to help unlock the potential of entrepreneurship. This course is for juniors and seniors who are interested in learning how to design inclusive prosperity, sustainable lifestyles, and new businesses by modeling innovative value propositions. Students will learn advanced concepts and practice applying ideas of open innovation, value chains, and concept ideation.
