This course, designed for students with elementary knowledge of Portuguese, begins with a review of simple grammar (present, past, and future tenses) and then introduces more complex grammatical and syntactical elements. Students expand their vocabulary and knowledge of Brazilian culture in a setting that emphasizes communication skills. Prerequisite: Portuguese Level 1, the equivalent, or permission of the instructor.
