Description:
Enrollment limited. The healing process in group dance therapy and in other physical activity–based therapy groups is explored. Students become aware of the importance of synchrony, education, rhythm, vitalization, integration, cohesion, expression, and symbolism to a group's evolution. They also learn about and experience group development within a session and over time. Leadership, music, and verbal interventions are discussed in relation to group dancing.
