This course will be the final installment in the series of courses on introduction to Modern Standard Arabic (MSA). Building on the four language skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing that students have acquired over the earlier semesters, the students will continue to hone their skills through comprehending intermediary level audio and video materials accompanying the textbook. They will be able to discuss these materials in Arabic as well as read and write grammatically correct short paragraphs on a variety of topics with the help of an Arabic dictionary. This course is based on the communicative approach in language teaching and learning. It focuses on the functional usage of the language and on communication in context.
Course Open to: Degree Students
