• Eligibility and Credits

    This program is open to qualified:

    • Advanced undergraduate students: Students with evidence of academic accomplishment who have shown a commitment to working in the area of international affairs.
    • Students who will have completed their bachelor’s degree in the year prior to the program are also eligible.
    • Graduate students (Master's and PhD) and individuals pursuing continuing education: Open to all fields.
    • The program is open to both New School and Non-New School applicants from the U.S. and the world.

    Students who successfully complete the program earn academic credits in The New School’s Graduate Program in International Affairs as per the option selected. New School credits are normally transferable, but students should consult an academic advisor at their home institution to confirm transferability of the credits and application to graduation requirements.

    Records and transcripts: Students can request that a transcript of the program be mailed to another college or university by submitting the online Transcript Request to the Registrar's Office.
