• Housing

For the duration of the program, students have the option of living in New School dormitories, located in the famous Greenwich Village neighborhood of Manhattan. This area is centrally located; class sessions will be held nearby, and the neighborhood offers many cultural and political sites of interest as well as shopping and restaurants. In addition, it has easy access to subways and is relatively close to the United Nations headquarters. Housing fees are separate from course tuition. Visit the Summer Housing page to find the application process,  deadlines, fees, and other details. Students are also welcome to secure their own housing separate from The New School.
