The basketball team was the catalyst for the athletics program and formed it's first team in 2009, competing in adult leagues in the city. Now it boasts a full schedule against collegiate teams from November – March which culminates with the Northeast Art School Basketball Invitational (NASBI). The basketball team plays against men's teams, but accepts female participation.

    Cross Country

The cross country team running club is open to all skill levels. Practices are M/W/F, 6:15-8am and T/Th evenings to make sure it can fit your busy schedule. Though independent, the Narwhals compete in races hosted by the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and City University of New York.

    Dance

The purpose of TNS Dance Collective is to provide a space for dancers and artists alike to share a space and collaborate with one another. Through workshops led by members of the dance collective, students will be able to explore a variety of dance styles and form relationships with one another.
