Registration for the 2020 Publishing Institute opens on March 2, 2020. Registration will remain open until June 22, 2020, or until the program is full.
Tuition is $1,600 (noncredit) or $4,550 (credit). Additional registration fees may apply. Housing charges are separate.
Enrollment is on a first come, first served basis. Early registration is advised to guarantee your space. Tuition and registration fees must be paid in full when you register. If you need advisement or help with registration, contact our office.
Please note that matriculated students in any degree program of The New School who wish to apply the New School Publishing Institute toward their degree requirements must obtain permission from an academic advisor before registering. Students from institutions other than The New School should consult with their home institutions for eligibility of transfer credits to their degree programs.
How to Register
You can register online by selecting the credit option of your choosing, graduate credit or noncredit. While this is a graduate-level course, advanced undergraduate students are also welcome to register. A credit card is required for online registration.
- Graduate and undergraduate credit students should register for course NWRG 5850.
- Noncredit students should register for course NWRG 0850.
You can also register in person at the Registrar's Office, where you can pay by credit card, check, or money order.
Withdrawals and Refunds
Students who wish to withdraw from the New School Publishing Institute should contact our office. Refunds are issued based on the following schedule:
- A 100 percent refund before the program begins, on June 22, 2020
- An 80 percent refund after the first day of the program, end of day June 22, 2020
- No refund offered on or after June 26, 2020
