Profile:
I've worked in TESOL for over forty years. The first twenty of those years were spent teaching ESOL courses, training teachers and directing language schools with the UK-based International House organization. During this period, I worked in France, Lebanon, the UK, Libya, Egypt and Spain.
My wife and I moved to the USA in 1990 to set up a teacher-training center offering Cambridge CELTA courses in San Francisco. In 2003, we moved to Houston, where I taught CELTA courses, taught and tutored ESOL classes, and managed the language laboratories in Lone Star College.
For most of my time in the USA, I was Cambridge University's Chief Assessor in charge of CELTA courses in the USA, Canada and Mexico.
For the past ten years I have taught several on-line MA TESOL courses a year at The New School. I normally teach a couple of Practicum courses each year and often a Grammar course also.
In 2016, we left the USA to settle in Barcelona, Spain.
