I have been teaching English as a Second Language for 12 years in both the US and Spain. Aside from Parsons, I also teach at The American Language Institute at New York University and at the English as a Second Language Program at Kean University. I have also worked as a teacher educator with the TESOL programs at New York University and Oxford Seminars. I enjoy traveling, languages, and exploring other countries and cultures. Something which has greatly contributed to my teaching style and philosophy is my experience teaching abroad. While living in Spain for 4 years, I became fluent in Spanish. My personal language learning experience and my experience living in another country have made me especially empathetic and skilled in teaching English Language Learners. It is a pleasure to work with Parsons students. I enjoy incorporating art an design into my academic English curriculum.
