    Ariel Schrag

    Profile

    Ariel Schrag is the author of the novel Adam (Houghton Mifflin Harcourt 2014) and the graphic memoirs Awkward and Definition (Simon & Schuster 2008), Potential (Simon & Schuster 2008), and Likewise (Simon & Schuster 2009). She is the editor of the comics collection Stuck in the Middle: 17 Comics from an Unpleasant Age (Viking 2007) and has written comics and articles for Cosmopolitan, Medium, New York Observer and others. Schrag wrote the screenplay adaptation for her book Potential which is currently in development with Killer Films and was a writer for the Showtime series The L Word and the HBO series How To Make It in America. She is a Yaddo and Radar Lab fellow. Her new graphic memoir, Part of It, will be published by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt in 2018.
