NEW YORK, New York, February 11, 2013 - Mannes College The New School for Music presents MACE (Mannes American Composers Ensemble) and The Mannes Orchestra in performance at Alice Tully Hall on Monday, February 25.

The diverse program of Ludwig Van Beethoven, Derek Bermel and Pulitzer Prize-winning composers Shulamit Ran and Jennifer Higdon is reflective of Mannes College's pace-setting approach to classical music education, which combines top-level conservatory training with explorations of new and avant garde music. The program will include the New York Premiere of Higdon's "City Scape" and the world premiere of the instrumental version of Ran's "Fault Line."
