MILANO GRADUATE SCHOOL AND MARIST COLLEGE
TO OFFER DUAL M.S./M.B.A DEGREE

(New York, NY – October 7, 2002) New School University's Robert J. Milano Graduate School of Management and Urban Policy in Manhattan and Marist College's School of Management in Poughkeepsie, New York, announced their partnership creating a dual M.S./M.B.A. degree program. Both Marist and Milano seek to prepare students who are globally aware, appropriately trained and interested in positive change at organizational, community and international levels.

Edward J. Blakely, Dean of the Milano Graduate School said, "Milano students are working to be leaders in their fields. Whether these leadership positions are as Executive Directors of nonprofit organizations or human resources professionals in corporate firms, students will now have the opportunity to gain an even wider range of skills – particularly in the financial management arena."

Marist College was selected to partner with the Milano Graduate School because it has the first Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) accredited and fully online M.B.A. program in New York State. The entire curriculum is available online using Marist's distance education platform. The curriculum is available at www.marist.edu/graduate/SOM.html.
