    Left Right

In the old era of news media, when main sources were newspapers or a handful of network television programs, there was a comfortable confidence among the public that the news was factual and trustworthy. Today, a wider political polarization stemming from the recent presidential election, combined with the emergence of the "fake news" phenomenon, has created an ever-greater rift in the country's collective consciousness. Left Right pulls the top political headline in real time from four news sources, one far left, one moderate left, one moderate right, and one far right. Left Right then gathers Reddit threads surrounding these top headlines. The Left Right user can not only see the difference in reporting between a range of sources but also immediately see how the country is responding.
