Automonuments examines high-rise buildings and skyscrapers as a phenomenon of modern life. Through photography and digital manipulations, the work isolates the city’s fragments and reorders them through a constructed vision. Duplicating and “stitching” one level of a building to another emphasizes the uniformity within the architectural structure and with its inhabitants, transforming a visual experience into hyper-realistic encounter.
