How best to convey luxury brands? According to BFA Communication Design graduate Roanne Adams, "a designer must align inspiration, business objectives, and storytelling
into powerful and clear experiences." As founder and chief creative director of the multidisciplinary design studio RoAndCo, Adams leads her firm in using that process daily to solve the communication challenges of clients in the fashion, beauty, lifestyle, and technology industries.
For the S/S '14 lookbook of luxury footwear and accessories brand Loeffler Randall (shown above), RoAndCo designed striking compositions featuring a refined palette of background colors. Accordion folds give the piece dimension while dynamically framing individual vignettes of shoes and bags. The format takes viewers through a visual narrative of unearthly delights.
