Nelesi is a Venezuelan-born media educator, researcher, and practitioner. She came to NYC as a Fulbright Scholar and graduated from the MA in Media Studies program at The New School. Her work focuses on how notions of identity and the body are affected by digital technologies. She is also interested in public scholarship and how artistic practices can be used/adapted as research and pedagogic methodologies.
