Iva Son is an interactive designer and educator who has worked on various projects that include website and graphic design and film editing with such organizations as Sesame Workshop, MTV, Institute of Play, OCON Animation Studios, CJ Films, Korean Broadcasting Company, etc. She attained an MFA in Design and Technology at Parsons the New School for Design in 2010 and a BA in Communication Arts at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2004. Iva’s passion lies in creating language and musical development software or web applications for children to enhance their skills through ‘playful learning,’ and she has presented at conferences and schools about her work. Her current project is called Aniland (aniland.co.uk), an iPad app for preschooler literacy enhancement, and she is also a creator of Gogo Monsterkids (gogomonsterkids.com), a multilingual project for young children.
