    Kimberly Ackert

    Profile

    Kimberly Ackert is principal and founder of Ackert Architecture a New York City and Hudson Valley based office with a diverse portfolio of residential, hospitality and installation projects. She received the Mercedes T. Bass Rome Prize in Architecture and has been published internationally including: 40 Under 40, New York Times Magazine, Green Architecture USA, Interiors, Architectural Review, Architecture Australia, and House and Garden. Ackert has over 30 years of both national and international experience and was a design Associate in the New York City offices of Skidmore, Owings and Merrill, and a project architect with Richard Meier and Partners. She has taught at the Graduate School of Design at Harvard University as well as the Yale School of Architecture and Cornell School of Architecure in the 5 year under graduate program.  Her work at Parsons includes design studios in the Graduate Program for both LIghting and Architecure as well as Interior design.
