• Britt Allanson Bivens


    Having entered the fashion industry more than 20 years ago, Britt has continued to work in and around fashion spanning three continents. After coming to New York and landing on the corner of Seventh Avenue and 37th Street, her career as a forecaster began in 1997 with Promostyl, the world’s original trend agency. During the years she was with them, she worked with many companies closely within different departments: design, merchandising, visuals and marketing. Her clients were numerous and varied, including New Balance, Target and Swarovski, amongst others.

    In 2005, she co-founded 4.5 Productions and continued to run the business of Promostyl for North America & Mexico as well as develop creative projects. Since 2012 she has been teaching trend at Parsons New School of Design and in 2015 she launched her own consulting venture, Ace of Swords. Ace of Swords provides trend forecasting services and has been working with small companies helping them establish their mission and growth strategy while staying true to their brand.

    Her background also includes retail management and working for a jewelry trade publication as an editor. Britt’s experience gives her a well-rounded perspective on the industry and she has been asked to speak at many trade shows and industry events globally.
