Asst Prof of Strategic Design & Management
Raz is an Assistant Professor and the co-director of the MS in Strategic Design & Management Program at the School of Design Strategies (SDS). He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in innovation, leadership, the sharing economy, sustainability and strategic design. His research interests include the convergence of innovation, sustainability, business and design strategies, the sharing economy, open innovation and sustainable business models. Currently he is involved in projects focusing on the impact of the sharing economy on traditional business, the relationship between sharing economy and resilience, the future of design thinking, and the willingness of Millennials to integrate sustainability into their lifestyle.
Raz is the co-founder of two green startups - Hemper Jeans and Eco-Libris, and a regular contributor to Triple Pundit, writing about issues related to sustainable business, the sharing economy and design. He holds an MBA from Tel Aviv University and a BA in Communication and Economics from the Hebrew University.
