    Assistant Professor of Fashion

    Profile:

    Grace is a designer and social entrepreneur working at the intersection of universal design & fashionable technology. She teaches at the School of Fashion and Arts, Media, and Technology School. As the Executive Director at Open Style Lab (OSL), Grace leads the non-profit organization's mission to make style accessible to people with diverse abilities (i.e - elderly / people with disabilities). Her work at OSL has received nation-wide attention and has been featured at the White House Fashion Show Celebrating Inclusive Design, Assistive Technology, and Prosthetics, ABC Channel News, Fast Company, and most recently the New York Times and Vogue. She has been asked to speak about disability and design in numerous settings, including Design Indaba 2017 and Forum for the Future. She serves on the board at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) Museum’s Body Advisory Committee and as a Board Member at AXS Lab, an award winning film/new media, not for profit dedicated to telling the stories of the disability experience
