    Rory Solomon is a doctoral candidate in the department of Media, Culture, and Communication at New York University. He is currently completing a dissertation on mesh networks. Other research areas include communications infrastructure, wireless media, antennas, and the history of ham and Citizens Band radio. He teaches computer programming, critical making, and time-based media design. Rory holds BA degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics from UC Berkeley, and an MA in Media Studies from The New School, where his thesis “The Stack: A Media Archaeology of the Computer Program” received an award of Academic Achievement. @rorys
