Faculty, First Year
Miriam Josi is an independent product designer based in Paris since 2014. She was born in Bern, Switzerland, where she obtained her teaching degree. She has lived all over the globe and studied at the School of Fine Arts in San Juan, Puerto Rico; ENSCI–les Ateliers in Paris; and Parsons School of Design in New York City.
"Low-tech minimalism" describes Josi’s aesthetics and overall design approach, as well as the manufacturing processes she chooses for her projects.
Her work has been exhibited at Paris Design Week, Now! le Off, D’Days, NYCxDesign, London Design Festival, Salone dei Tessuti in Milan, the Museum of Applied Arts in Berlin and Hôtel de Villein Paris.
