Josh Bricker studied painting at Cal State Channel Islands and received his M.F.A. from Parsons The New School for Design. Currently, he is a practicing and exhibiting artist based in Los Angeles and was previously an adjunct faculty member at Long Beach City College. He actively exhibits his work throughout the world at institutions such as the Guggenheim Museum and the Museo Ex Teresa Arte Actual in Mexico City. Josh was one of the winners of the first Guggenheim YouTube Play open competition. Most recently, his video work was featured in UCLA's Game Art Festival held at the Hammer Museum, and Game Video Art. A Survey at IULM University in Milan, the largest exhibition of digital game based art ever held in Italy. Josh has also been an artist-in- residence at the Wassaic Project in New York and has contributed writings to artinprint.org and thevisionmachine.com, a scholarly online journal investigating the Military-Industrial- Media-Entertainment Network.
