Assistant Professor of Fashion Design
Creative director Joff has specialized and developed his expertise through collaboration within the field of fashion, design & art. Curating and directing his vision in the realization of small to large-scale projects in the form of publications, exhibitions, events and fashion design, he has collaborated across disciplines from fashion to fine art, from photography to architecture. He has worked with brands like Prada, Maison Martin Margiela, Museum of Contemporary Art Amsterdam, Nicholas Kirkwood, Raf Simons, Architectonics, Six Scents, Colette Paris, Jil Sander, and Chanel. In 2011, the fourth edition of the prestigious Arnhem Mode Biennale, an exhibition and a month-long event focused on the art of fashion, was under his artistic direction. He has taught at the fine art academies Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam and ArtEZ in Arnhem. Most recently, Joff is creative director of contemporary fine art photography magazine Capricious and founder and editor-in-chief of the new fashion publication Le Derriere Cri.
