    Isidore Bethel is a French-American filmmaker.

    He is a graduate of Harvard College, the École Normale Supérieure, and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Isidore's work has screened at Cannes (Official Selection), the Museum of Modern Art, and the Pompidou Center.

    He has received fellowships from the Lagardère Foundation, the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation, the Tribeca Film Institute Network, Film Independent, IFP, Berlinale Talents, and EuroDoc.

    He has been an artist-in-residence with the Institut Français, the Villa Medici in Rome, and the California Institute of the Arts and has taught film at Sarah Lawrence College in Paris.
