Angela Wyman is a designer focused on coding, typography and XXX visual education working in New York City. She is currently the Creative Director at Cross-Type, a cross-disciplinary design and research studio working with interaction design, mobile technologies, web and game apps. Angela has worked as a designer, researcher and collaborator for clients, such as Clariol, Morgan Stanley, The United Nations and NYC design agencies. She’s also taught thousands of women to code at an online startup. Recipient of artist residencies at Babycastles, Yaddo and McDowell Fellowship. She is lead of the game design program at Pratt Institute SCPS where she also teaches Experimental Typography, Advanced Coding, and Educational Mobile Game Apps. She holds an MFA from Hunter College in Painting and a BFA in Graphic Design from Pratt Institute, New York.
