    Gretchen Harnick is a fashion marketing professor who specializes in digital marketing, fashion entrepreneurship, wholesale and retail, and consumer trends related to new marketing strategies. She coaches fashion startups through her online incubator, Pattern to Plan and has partnerships with Not Just A Label and the Paris trade show Who's Next/Premiere Classe. Gretchen runs the site Fashion Shakedown profiling fashion brands doing good in the industry. Her work in teaching and consulting takes her to Tokyo, China, France, England and Germany and she continues to work with clients and students online.  Gretchen launched and ran the social media for Parsons School of Fashion and continues to support retail, fashion and wellness clients in digital marketing and business strategy around the world. 

    Her earlier career focused on corporate retail marketing, running her own wholesale showroom and emerging designer fashion boutique in addition to importing products from Thailand and Nepal.
