Profile:
Floriana has been a part-time faculty in the School of Fashion since 2010.
She primarily teaches sophomore and junior-level BFA students, but has additionally taught in Pre-College Parsons Academy, in Parsons First Year and served as a patternmaker and 3D consultant for the MFA Fashion Design and Society.
Floriana additionally serves as part-time faculty in the School of Fashion at the Pratt Institute.
In the past Floriana has worked in increasingly high-level technical design positions at companies such as Emanuel Ungaro, Missoni Spa, Calvin Klein and Prada/Miu Miu.
During the summer she has been teaching Technical Fashion design in Lagos Nigeria ( Summer 2014 ) and Shangai China ( Summer 2017 ).
Most recently she serves as a technical designer for Area Studio and Lou Dallas in New York City.
Floriana received her bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design from Accademia d’Alta Moda e D’Arte del Costume Koefia in Rome Italy and additionally she received an associate’s degrees in Patternmaking/Grading from Istituto Secoli in Milan Italy.
Floriana is fluent in English, Italian and French and has a conversational level knowledge of Spanish
