Assistant Professor of Interior Design
Cotter comes to Parsons from the Hong Kong campus of the Savannah College of Art and Design. Cotter’s professional practice includes five years as an interior project designer at the international design firm, Perkins+Will. His work primarily focused in science and technology, healthcare, and corporate studios on multiple LEED certified projects. He is a member of the organizing committee for Platinum, a non-profit organization that promotes sustainable design in Hong Kong that is also a participant in the United States Green Building Council International Roundtable where he organized LEED workshops. He holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in Studio Art, with a concentration in Interior Design, from Georgia State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Set Design from Marymount Manhattan College in New York City.
