For over twenty five years Cecilia has worked closely with high-end textile mills, dyers, print houses, and manufacturers in NY, Italy, Europe, and Asia. Her focus: creating award-winning designs for the luxury market of men's and women’s textiles and apparel. 2018 marks Cecilia's sixteeth year as faculty member at Parsons School of Design, where she's taught in the BFA Fashion Design Program, the School of Fashion Associate Program for Marketing and Fashion, the Open Campus Program for Adult Education, and in the Cohort for Luxury Retail Program (a collaboration between Parsons, LVMH and the American-Chinese Council). For 17 years she has been a member of the Philadelphia Museum, Costume and Textile Committee. She is owner and designer for CeMe Design, NYC. Cecilia received a BA in Political Science and Speech from Western Kentucky University, participated in the Sculptor and Color Program at Maryland Institute of Art, and in Fashion Institute of Technology's Women's Apparel Program. She's currently working on a book about textiles while applying for the Parsons Master Program in Textiles.
