Why did you decide to study at Parsons Paris?
I started my master’s program at Parsons in New York. When Parsons Paris opened its doors to the MA program, I knew that finishing my master’s in a city I had long adored from afar was an opportunity not to be missed. I hadn't studied abroad before and was thrilled for a chance to get to know Paris in the way that is only possible by living there.

    Favorite classes:
    History of Collections & Museums
    French Grad Reading
Art, Economics, and the Art Market

What activities did you take part in at Parsons Paris?
I was part of Disnovate (a hackathon for graduate students during orientation), API student events and field trips, almost all Parsons Paris Gallery openings (and was sometimes involved in the production of those shows too), D'Days, and more. I worked as the student assistant to the gallery and events Manager, and the communications manager. I also spearheaded the first-ever Student Symposium at Parsons Paris, where there was a call for students to present their work.

How did living in Paris affect your experience?
The fact that I had only one year in Paris really encouraged me to say “yes” more than I might have done otherwise. I found that saying “yes” led to some incredible experiences and wonderful people that shaped my time and studies in Paris and continue to influence me today.

Did you get any internship experience?
Yes, lots! Highlights have been working at the Cooper Hewitt, MoMA, and of course at Parsons Paris.

What is your master’s thesis about?
Its title is, “Beyond a Cyborg Future: Complexities of Bridging Body and Technology.” It’s an examination of the relationship between bodies and technology through the critical lens of design.

How would you describe your experience at Parsons Paris?
Studying at Parsons Paris is about being part of a community that loves learning how to see the world and finding what there is to be seen.

    What are you doing now?
Currently, I am working with the Artsy team as a gallery liaison focused on design.
