    Randy Yeip is deputy graphics director at The Wall Street Journal, where he help manage a team of data journalists, developers and data visualization specialists. Previously, he was a graphics editor covering national politics. He earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in journalism from Michigan State University and has served as a judge for various state and national scholastic journalism competitions. Prior to joining WSJ in 2005, he worked as a designer and graphic artist at the Patriot-News in Harrisburg, Pa.
