• Workshop and Special Events

    Career Services invites New School students and alumni to take part in workshops and events  focusing on practical career development and job search skills. Career fairs, panel discussions, and information sessions also provide valuable information about a range of employment areas as well as the jobs available in and their entry-level requirements. These events offer students opportunities to meet and network with New School alumni and employers who may be recruiting.


    We offer workshops each semester on a variety of topics:

    • Dining Etiquette
    • Job Search
    • Salary Negotiation

    Internship and Career Fairs

    Each year, the university hosts or is involved with a number of internship and career fairs attended by hundreds of employers. These fairs enable students to interact with recruiters from a variety of fields. It is important to have your résumé reviewed by a career counselor or advisor before the fair.
