Technology Tutoring
for Faculty

The Provost's Office is pleased to announce that New School faculty can sign up for free, individualized tutoring sessions on a wide variety of computer programs ("Tech-Shops"). This program was introduced in the spring of 2011 in an effort to provide support to faculty members who want to incorporate more technology into their teaching. Several highly qualified students are working with the Provost's Office to provide tutoring sessions to faculty members who schedule an appointment. Sessions can take place in a computer lab or in faculty offices (provided the office computer has the necessary software). Tutors are available to help with a range of computer programs, from common ones such as BlackBoard or Powerpoint to a wide variety of specialized software.

To make an appointment, simply email facultytechtutoring@newschool.edu. Include a brief description of the kind of computer tutorial you are interested in. Here is a list of some of the possibilities:
